Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 6 February 2026
Noetic is committed to making its app accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
We want Noetic to be usable by people with a wide range of access needs, including people who use screen readers, larger text sizes, reduced motion settings, high contrast display settings, voice control, switch control, and other assistive technologies available on iOS and iPadOS.
Accessibility standards
Noetic aims to align with the accessibility requirements set out in EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, where these standards are relevant to the Noetic app.
We also monitor developments in WCAG 2.2 and wider accessibility guidance so that we can continue improving the accessibility and usability of the app over time.
How we support accessibility
Noetic is designed to support accessibility features available on Apple devices, including:
- VoiceOver and screen reader support
- Dynamic Type and larger text sizes
- Sufficient colour contrast where possible
- Reduced Motion preferences
- Clear page structure, headings, labels, and controls
- Text alternatives or accessible labels for meaningful icons and interface elements
- Interface designs that do not rely on colour alone to communicate important information
We aim to make the app clear, predictable, and easy to navigate, with simple language and consistent interaction patterns.
Current accessibility status
Noetic is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549.
This means that many parts of the app are designed to meet recognised accessibility requirements, but some areas may not yet fully meet the standard. We are continuing to test and improve the app as part of ongoing development.
At this stage, Noetic has not yet completed a full independent accessibility audit. The statement is based on internal review, testing, and our current understanding of the app's accessibility position.
Known limitations
We are actively reviewing the app for accessibility issues. Areas we continue to monitor and improve include:
- Ensuring all buttons, icons, and interactive elements have clear accessible names
- Checking that all screens work effectively with VoiceOver
- Improving support for larger text sizes across all screens
- Ensuring focus order and reading order remain logical
- Reducing the risk of motion, animation, or visual effects creating barriers
- Checking that colour contrast remains sufficient across all themes and states
Where we identify accessibility issues, we aim to prioritise fixes based on the impact on users and the importance of the affected feature.
Feedback and contact
We welcome feedback from users who experience accessibility barriers when using Noetic.
If you have difficulty using any part of the app, please contact us via our contact page
To help us investigate the issue, please include where possible:
- The feature or screen you were using
- A description of the problem
- The device and iOS version you were using
- Any assistive technology or accessibility settings you were using, such as VoiceOver or larger text
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 5 working days and provide a further response or update within 15 working days, where possible.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing part of Noetic's product development. We will continue to review the app against recognised accessibility standards, user feedback, and changes to iOS accessibility features.
This statement will be reviewed and updated when significant accessibility changes are made to the app.
